UK officials investigate vehicle fire
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 News Now) — University of Kentucky officials are investigating a suspicious vehicle fire that happened Sunday on campus.
According to university police, the fire broke out in a parking lot off Linden Walk. The Lexington Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the flames.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown person approached a Ford van and intentionally set it on fire, officials said.
UK officials are reminding the public: if you see something, say something. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact UK Police.
