UK football season ticket update

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fewer Solid Blue fans are on board for UK football season tickets for next season as of May 27th according to numbers obtained by the Courier-Journal via an open records request.

31,841 season ticket plans have been sold as of that date.

Compare that to the 45,710 plans sold in all of 2015.

It’s the lowest number of tickets sold so far in the Mark Stoops era.  The highest mark, of course, was in Stoops’ first season…when 48.465 season ticket plans were sold.

It is worth noting that student season ticket packages are not included in that May 27th number.  UK Athletics says 6,500 should be added to include the student and comp allotment.
