UK defeats Georgia 71-60; Alabama is next

NASHVILLE, Tn. (AP) – Isaiah Briscoe and De’Aaron Fox each scored 20 points to carry eighth-ranked Kentucky to a 71-60 win against Georgia in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals.

Bam Adebayo added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats, who led by as many as 18 and held the Bulldogs to 33 percent shooting. Kentucky’s semifinal opponent tomorrow will be Alabama, which beat South Carolina, 64-53.
