UK Campus Bus Services Begins Wednesday

The University of Kentucky campus bus system will resume its regular academic year service and routes on Wednesday, transportation officials said.

All CATS bus routes and the campus Lextran service, are free to ride for all UK students.

The CATS On-Demand bus service has already resumed its regular academic year schedule, UK transportation officials said.

According to UK officials, if you need to request an on-campus ride through the On-Demand service, call 859-221-RIDE (7433). They remind students that ride requests must be submitted at least 30 minutes before the end of the on-demand service.

The university suggests students use Cat Tracker, a real-time GPS-bus tracking system, to stay up-to-date with buses throughout the campus.

More information about all the bus routes, including maps and schedule, can be found on the university’s bus website.
