UK Athletics collecting donations for flood victims
At upcoming UK men's basketball game and other locations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky Athletics is calling on Solid Blue fans to donate money and supplies for those impacted by the recent floods.
The athletic department says that many units from across the school have started to send water and other supplies to counties that have been the most affected.
Fans can drop off donations at two locations to help.
- Outside Rupp Arena before the Wednesday, February 19 Kentucky men’s basketball game from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
- Gatton Student Center starting February 18.
- UK Chandler Hospital starting February 18.
UK is looking to collect non-perishable foods, toilet paper, paper towels cleaning supplies and bottled water.
