LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Lexington Sporting Club has nine newcomers and 14 total players signed on for the 2025 United Soccer League Championship season with the addition of two more signings.

Defender and Midfielder Jacob Greene

The Maryland native suited up for the Columbus Crew’s second team in MLS NEXT Pro last season.

In 22 matches played, the 21-year-old started half of them, clearing 11 balls and scoring two goals

Before his time in the Buckeye State, Greene was brought up in the prestigious DC United Academy.

He made his professional debut for the Black and Red under former manager Wayne Rooney in 2023.

“Jacob is a fantastic addition to our team. His professional pedigree and versatility on the pitch make him an ideal fit for the style of play we are building at Lexington SC,” said Head Coach Terry Boss.

Winger and Forward Dylan Borczak

The 25-year-old dual position player comes from Memphis 901 FC, a club that’s had its rights transferred to Santa Barbra SKY FC and will no longer compete in the USL Championship.

Last season, Borczak played in 30 matches scoring four goals on 15 shots on target.

“Dylan embodies the work ethic and passion we strive for as a club, and we are confident that he will be an impactful player both on and off the field,” said Boss.

“Signing with Lexington Sporting Club is an incredible opportunity to grow both as a player and a person. It’s an exciting new chapter in my career,” said Borczak.
