Two suspects arrested, two at-large in robbery-assault

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two Lexington men were arrested and two other suspects were still on the loose in connection to a robbery and assault in Franklin County, according to State Police.

A woman who called for help told investigators that four men went into her home on Union Ridge Road in Franklin County Monday afternoon armed with a baseball bat and assaulted her boyfriend.

State Police say the suspects stole jewelry and money from the couple before leaving.

Investigators say they were able to identify the four suspects and with the help of Lexington Police, arrested two of the men in Lexington.

State Police identified the arrested suspects as 45-year old Danny Drury and 36-year old Troy Thornton, both of Lexington. Both men were charged with Robbery 1st Degree, according to State Police.

The other two suspects, whose names weren’t released, were still at-large, according to KSP.
