Two stabbed outside Lexington bar

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people were stabbed following a fight outside a Lexington bar Monday.

The call came into police just before 1:30 a.m.

Officers say they arrived at the Green Lantern on West Third Street and found two men stabbed.

They say one was stabbed in the neck. His injury is life-threatening. He was rushed to the hospital where he was undergoing surgery.

The other man was stabbed in the stomach, according to police.

Police say there was apparently a fight outside the bar that led to the stabbings but they did not give further details.

They say they are reviewing surveillance video from the bar.
