Two shot near Winchester Road and Walton Ave

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –   Lexington Police say two men were shot Sunday morning in a parking lot off Winchester Road.

Officers first got calls about it around 3 AM, but didn’t find anything.

Soon after, two hospitals reported men walking into the ER with gunshot wounds to the legs.

Police say they think the shooting happened at Winchester Road and Walton Avenue.

That’s where they found one victim’s car. But officers say the two men didn’t tell them much about what happened, just that they showed up, shots rang out, and then they felt pain in their legs.

Officers expect both men to survive.
