Two shootings reported in Lexington on New Year’s Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are investigating two shootings on New Year’s Day but say they aren’t getting much help from the victims.

The Lexington Police Department says officers were called about a man who came into Good Samaritan Hospital with gunshot wounds around 12:09 a.m.

Police say the man did not give them any information about the shooting.

Officers were then called around 5:29 a.m. to St. Joseph Hospital about another man who was shot. They say the man was uncooperative, but they were able to find out the shooting happened on Squires Woods Way.

Police say both victims had non-life-threatening injuries.
