Two separate police foot chases end in arrests in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – There were two separate police foot chases Thursday evening that ended in arrests in Lexington.
Police say the first happened at 6:00 p.m., when an officer chased down a shoplifting suspect from the Walmart on West New Circle Road. Police say no one was hurt. The suspect’s name wasn’t released.
Investigators say the other foot chase happened around 8:18 p.m., when an officer spotted a man with outstanding warrants. Police say the suspect ran from the officer, who gave chase on foot, eventually arresting the man after a brief struggle on Rand Avenue. Police say no one was hurt. The man’s name wasn’t released.
