Two petitions demand metal detectors in Scott County schools

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Two people have started petitions to have metal detectors installed in schools in Scott County.

The petitions come after a student brought a gun to the new Great Crossing High School Wednesday, just a week into the new school year.

Police say the 15-year-old student was taken into custody.
