Two people hospitalized after falling from cliff in Russell County
RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — In Russell County, two people were rescued after falling from a cliff early Sunday morning in the Lake Cumberland Low Gap area.
Search and rescue crews say one person fell about 150 feet and another fell about 200 to 250 feet.
Crews said they used a rope system to reach the victims before taking them down boats waiting on the lake.
The first person rescued was treated for ankle and face injuries; the second person rescued was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
