UPDATE: Lindenhurst shooting leaves one dead, one injured

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One of two people found shot inside a Lexington apartment Thursday night died, police and Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn have announced.
According to Ginn, 53-year-old Frankie Strong died from a gunshot wound at about 7:40 p.m. at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Thew death has been ruled a homicide, Ginn said in a statement.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say two people were found shot inside an apartment Thursday evening.

Investigators say the call came in just after 7 p.m.
The victims, whose names and gender weren’t released, were found in an apartment in the 2500 block of Lindenhurst Loop, according to police.
“When officers arrived on scene they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital. One subject had what was reported to us as life threatening injuries, and the other non-life threatening injuries,” police said Thursday night.
