Two people arrested on gun and drug trafficking charges in Pulaski County
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) –
A couple and two minors under the age of 18 are facing charges after an investigation into drugs and guns at a residence in Somerset.
According to deputies, Robert Price and 35-year-old Michelle Price have been charged with drug trafficking and gun-related offenses. The investigation, conducted by the sheriff’s office, led to their arrests.
During the arrest process, deputies encountered a child in the home who allegedly threatened them with a knife. The situation escalated, requiring deputies to use a taser to subdue the juvenile. Another child also allegedly attempted to attack a deputy during the incident.
As part of their investigation, deputies discovered seven marijuana plants growing in a shed on the property, with an additional five plants found growing outside. Inside the residence, deputies located firearms in the living room and seized nearly four thousand dollars in cash.
The Somerset Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case.
