Two people arrested for deadly Lexington shooting at Coolavin Apartments

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police have arrested two people in connection to a shooting that killed a man Tuesday afternoon at Coolavin Apartments.

David Williams, 32, faces charges for Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Cocaine).

Tyreshe Webb, 24, is charged with Hindering Apprehension and Improper Display of a Registration Plate.

Officers say they were nearby Coolavin Apartments just before 1 p.m. Tuesday when they heard gunshots.

They found 22-year-old Quatrell Kimble suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the ground in a breezeway.

Kimble was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police found a gun while investigating. Webb is accused of giving Williams transportation.
