Two men sentenced for 2014 Lexington murder

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men who pleaded guilty to their roles in a 2014 murder in Lexington, were sentenced to decades in prison on Friday. Fayette Circuit Judge Pamela Goodwine sentenced Chauncey Ingram to 30-years for shooting and killing 19-year old Jeffrey Adams.

Investigators say Ingram shot Adams twice and left him for dead in the hallway of an apartment complex on McCullough Drive. Police say after the shooting, Ingram went through Adams’ pockets and robbed him.

Sayvon Thompson was sentenced to 20-years in prison after pleading guilty to facilitation and robbery.
