UPDATE: Two men involved in stabbing and assault, one arrested

UPDATE 4/23/18 5:00 a.m.- Police have arrested Casey Cooper for assault, after they say he initiated a fight on Horseman’s Lane by attacking another man with a tire iron. They say he then pulled out a knife and stabbed the man. He is expected in court on Monday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say they responded to a stabbing and assault Sunday afternoon around 3 on Horseman’s Lane.

Officers say a stabbing victim showed up at the hospital with very serious injuries.

They learned he was in a fight on Horseman’s Lane with another man.

Police say they know who that man is, but he was also hurt and at that time they weren’t sure who started the fight.
