Two men arrested in Lexington April shooting and robbery on Lenny Court
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting and robbery that happened back in April on Lenny Court, according to a release from the Lexington Police Department.
Police say officers were sent to Lenny Court around 1:30 p.m. on April 19, 2025, for a report of a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the release, detectives used investigative techniques and support from the department’s Real-Time Intelligence Center to identify two suspects in the case.
Damaurious Collins, 23, and Jairon Collins, 24, were arrested on July 2, 2025, and are now facing multiple charges, including:

Assault 2nd Degree

Endangering the Welfare of a Minor

Two counts of Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
Both are currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
