Two Lexington Subway Employees Robbed at Gunpoint
Two employees were robbed at gunpoint at a Lexington Subway restaurant Monday evening.
Police say the employees were about to head home at around 10:45 last night, when they opened the back door of the Waller Avenue restaurant and found a man wearing a full face mask.
According to police, the man pointed a gun at the workers and ordered them back inside. Police say after he forced them to open the register, he grabbed the cash and ran off.
Lexington K-9 units tracked the suspect to a nearby street, where officers believe the suspect got into a car and drove off.
Police are still investigating.
No one was hurt.
