Two Lexington streets reopen after sinkhole repair
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Two Lexington streets are reopen tonight after sinkhole repairs.
Police say a hole, which was four feet deep, opened up on Lancaster Avenue at East 7th Street. As a result, both streets had to close at that location so that repairs could be made.
Police say Columbia Gas was on the scene as a precaution, even though there was no gas leak. They say the road was fixed and reopened just before 4:30p.m.
