Two killed in McCreary County crash on U.S. 27

STEARNS, Ky. (ABC36 News Now) — Two people are dead following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in McCreary County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers say 68-year-old Pearl Goodin and 73-year-old James Goodin, both of Parkers Lake, were killed when their Toyota 4Runner overturned on U.S. 27 in Stearns.

Investigators said the SUV struck a guardrail and rolled multiple times. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, and both were ejected from the vehicle.

Toxicology results are pending, but state police said drugs and alcohol are not suspected. The crash remains under investigation.
