Two Kentucky crashes take three lives
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people are dead Saturday night after a car crash on on highway 70 in Taylor County.
According to the sheriff’s office 49-year-old Dewey Sturgell and 43-year-old Kerri Sturgell died when trying to pass a pickup.
The trucks hit each other then the Sturgell’s truck crashed into a tree.
The other pickup driver wasn’t hurt.
Another man died in a different car crash Friday night in Perry County.
State troopers say 35-year-old Eric Reed was pronounced dead at the scene.
A homeowner called troopers to say a car crashed into his house off highway 476 before 11 P.M.
No one inside the home was hurt, but a passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
