UPDATE: One dead following accident in Jessamine County

An early-morning accident in Jessamine County has killed one person.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says 24-year-old Cassie Foley died as a result of the injuries she suffered in the accident on Tates Creek Road on Thursday.

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people were taken to the hospital following an accident in Jessamine County Thursday morning.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a single-vehicle accident on Tates Creek Road around 8:45 a.m.

Deputies say a 2003 Chevy passenger car lost control and left the roadway, striking a tree.

The driver and passenger were taken to the University of Kentucky hospital.

There is no word on their condition.
