Two Hurt In Purse-Snatching

Two people suffered minor injuries following a purse-snatching in Lexington.

Police said a woman and her father were coming out of Meijer on Sir Barton Way when a man ran up and grabbed the woman’s purse.

Police said the suspect then jumped into a truck and started to drive away.

The victims tried to grab onto the truck as it sped away, but they weren’t able to hold on.

Police said those victims were able to give them a description of the truck, but not a license plate number.

The suspect has not been arrested.
