Two Hurt In Double Stabbing

Two men were taken to the hospital after a double stabbing in Whitley County Sunday.

State Police said it happened around 9:45 p.m. at a home on White Oak Road in Whitley County, near Daniel Boone National Forest in Williamsburg.

When troopers arrived, they discovered two men had been stabbed.

Officials arrested Teresa Sharp, 44, and charged her with two counts of assault, terroristic threatening and public intoxication.

Both victims were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

No word on their conditions.

Officials don’t know what started a fight that they said led to the stabbings.

The investigation is ongoing.
