Two hospitalized after fiery motorcycle, car crash in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Two people were hospitalized late Sunday night after a fiery crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Lexington.
According to police, the crash happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and South Broadway. Both the motorcycle and the car caught fire after the collision.
Officers say two people on the motorcycle were injured. One was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
