Two dead in flood waters

UNION COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-The other major weather problem this weekend was the rain.

The ground is so saturated that there is nowhere for more water to go.

We’ve gotten reports of two flood related deaths.

In Union County an elderly farmer died when floodwaters moved his car into a drainage ditch.

The Henderson Fire Department’s dive team says it found 77-year-old Joseph Nally dead in his submerged car.

According to emergency management, someone else was found in a submerged car in Simpson County.

The coroner hasn’t released that person’s information yet.
