Two cited for parachuting off Clays Ferry Bridge
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two people have been cited after police say they parachuted off the Clays Ferry Bridge earlier Monday.
According to Lexington police, officers were called to the 9000 block of Old Richmond Road for a welfare check after witnesses reported seeing two individuals parachuting from the bridge.
When officers arrived, the pair had already left the scene. They were later located at a local hospital, where one person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries from the fall.
Police say both individuals were cited for criminal trespassing.
