Two more bats test positive for rabies in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department confirms two more bats have tested positive for rabies in the Lexington area.
Health officials did not say where the bats were found.
The health department announced Wednesday that two bats found in homes in the Lakeview Acres and Cumberland Hills neighborhoods tested positive for rabies.
The health department says it has posted signs in the affected neighborhoods to warn residents.
