Two arrests made in Pulaski County drug bust

SCIENCE HILL, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two individuals are behind bars after Pulaski County deputies say a large amount of methamphetamine was burned inside a home in Science Hill.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and state detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Highway 1676. When they got there, authorities noticed smoke coming from the garage and attempted to force their way inside.

Inside the garage, deputies say they discovered a wood stove burning, which had set part of the floor on fire. Officials quickly extinguished the fire and detained the two people inside the residence.

Thomas Soble and 33-year-old Sarah Morris were both arrested at the scene. During the investigation, deputies learned that approximately 2.5 pounds of meth had been burned in the stove. They also recovered a stolen gun from the property.

Both suspects face multiple charges as the investigation continues.
