Two more arrests in December armed robbery in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two more people were arrested in connection with a December armed robbery of a A&B Market in Knox County, according to deputies.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says the robbery happened on Highway 225 near Artemus on December 21, 2019.

Investigators say 28-year-old Jennifer Gray and 32-year-old Courtney Simpson, both of Artemus, were arrested January 6, 2020.  Deputies say they recovered several hundred dollars of the stolen money.

Deputies previously arrested 21-year-old Alex Toothman and 47-year-old Russell Toothman, both of Artemus, in December.

All the suspects are charged with robbery, according to deputies.
