Two Arrested for Drugs and Kidnapping at Trimble Co. Home
BEDFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Perkinson Lane for suspected drug activity and kidnapping in the evening hours of September 30.
A call of a woman in distress at the Pilot truck stop on Pendleton Road led Troopers to a residence in Bedford. During the course of their investigation, it was determined that the woman had allegedly been held against her will at the residence where alleged illegal drug activity had taken place.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence and executed shortly thereafter. In the course of the search, ½ an ounce of methamphetamine, hydrocodone pills, multiple syringes with suspected methamphetamine, $189.00 in cash, two vehicles were seized along with drug packaging material.
Thomas Hoke, 34 of Bedford, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, possession, and having drug paraphernalia. James Burgan, 34 of Crestwood, was arrested and charged with kidnapping, assault, and theft by unlawful taking over $500. Hoke and Burgan were transported by the Trimble County Jailer to the Carroll County Detention Center.
The case remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
