Two arrested for criminal mischief
BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two Berea men have been arrested on criminal mischief charges.
Officers say they several calls Tuesday in the area of Kara Drive, Jason Circle, and Edgar Drive. According to officers, the callers were reporting damage to their cars. When officers arrived, they found multiple cars that had been egged and shot with a BB gun. Investigators estimated the damage to be around $2,500 dollars.
Officers later discovered that two men had purchased eggs and a BB gun at a Walmart, and that the customers had been captured on security video. Police identified the men as 20-year-old Tyler Kirby and 20-year old Eric Brainard of Berea. The two men were arrested Wednesday.
