Two arrested in early-morning shooting in Scott County
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men are under arrest, accused of shooting another man while he was in bed.
According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of an assault Tuesday morning in the 1900 block of Woodlake Road in Stamping Ground.
Investigators say the victim was in bed when the suspects came in and fired at him several times.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There were five other people in the home at the time of the shooting, according to deputies.
Deputies later tracked down the suspects’ vehicle in the area of Fincastle and Ferguson lanes.
One suspect, 18-year-old Deondre Montreal Johnson, was arrested at the scene.
Another ran off but later turned himself in, according to investigators.
He is 18-year-old Tansun Mikyael Savon Fisher.
Both are charged with assault and wanton endangerment.
Fisher is also charged with fleeing and evading.
Investigators say this was not a random crime and the suspects and the victim knew each other.
