Two arrested after string of vehicle thefts in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says two men are behind bars following a string of vehicle thefts.

Deputies were called around 5 a.m. Tuesday to the Cheshire Ridge subdivision in Florence, where several residents reported stolen items and vehicle damage.

The investigation led officers to a home in Union. Deputies say they found stolen car keys on a picnic table, other items in a trash can, and additional evidence inside the residence.

Jacob Studder and Isaac New were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including theft, criminal mischief, and drug-related charges. Both remain lodged in the Boone County Jail.
