Two Accused of Stealing From Woman With Alzheimer’s

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people are charged with stealing from an elderly woman who has Alzheimer’s.

Court documents say 48-year-old Clara Stewart was the caregiver for the woman.

She and her husband, 49-year-old Tommy Stewart, are accused of stealing and forging checks for almost $4,000.

Documents also say the two admitted to the crime.
