Turning loose

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – 17-of-22 for 310 yards and 3 touchdowns plus 10 rushes for 51 yards.

That was Stephen Johnson’s stat line in the win over New Mexico State.  South Carolina should pose a different challenge than the Aggies, but Mark Stoops liked Johnson’s decision-making behind center for the most part last weekend.

Coach isn’t a fan of the pulls and reads, but Stoops will turn Eddie Gran and company loose tomorrow unlike the curtailed version of the offense implemented when Johnson took over following Drew Barker’s injury.
