Trump Parade drives around New Circle, drawing counter ‘Dump Trump’ protest
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Trump parade around New Circle Sunday afternoon brought cars covered with American flags, meanwhile a counter ‘Dump Trump’ protest was held on foot.
The Lexington Herald-Leader says the caravan started at 1 p.m. and cars drove New Circle for about two hours.
About 25 people stood at the corner of N. Broadway and New Circle counter protesting the Trump supporters, the paper said.
Alisha Kattara, a protester with LPD Accountability, told the Herald-Leader that the protesters came out to oppose “Trump’s America,” because it doesn’t include everyone.
Meanwhile one Trump supporter, Kim Smith, told ABC 36 News they had a blast supporting the President.
Lexington Police says there weren’t any incidents.
