Troopers: Pedestrian Killed In Letcher Co.

State Police wanted to know why a woman was lying out on a highway before she was hit and killed in Letcher County. 

Troopers said it happened Saturday night in Colson.

According to investigators, Connie Meade, 47, was hit in the southbound lane on Kentucky Highway 7.

State Police said they had not charged the driver, and were still investigating.
