Troopers make surprise stop at 9-year-old’s birthday party

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Troopers and Owensboro Police Department teamed up to surprise a 9-year-old at his birthday party.

Jacob is autistic and loves law enforcement, especially police badges.

He even got to check out a Trooper’s hat!

Trooper Corey King said, “It was a special day and reminded me one of the most important reasons I became a Trooper: community. Our job is not always thankless. Thank you, Jacob! Happy Birthday!”
