Troopers Looking for Home Invasion Suspects

HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are looking for four men they say were involved in a home invasion in Knott Co.  Investigators say it happened just after 1:30a.m. on Thursday at Jamestown Village, a mobile home community on the Knott and Perry Co. line.

According to authorities, they were called to investigate a robbery in progress.  When they arrived, they say the homeowner told them that four men had forced entry into her home, assaulted her with a firearm and then handcuffed her together with another man.  The robbers took a jacket, a cell phone, and a set of car keys before leaving the home.  The homeowner told troopers the men were in a light colored passenger car, possibly a Toyota or Honda.  The homeowner received a minor injury to her eye, but neither she nor the other man were seriously injured.

Troopers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.  They are asking if anyone has any information to contact them at 606-435-6069.
