Troopers: Letcher County Man Dead After Apartment Fire

They say the fire was reported around 3:30 Thursday morning at the Mountain Breeze Apartment complex in Jenkens.

Investigators say human remains were found inside an apartment on a living room couch.

Troopers say the victim is 58-year-old Dennis Wayne Profitt.

His body was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.
