Troopers find meth during traffic stop in Liberty
LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say a passenger in a car was arrested during a traffic stop for drugs.
They say that just after 11 p.m. on March 23, troopers stopped a 2003 Chevy Impala on Short Town Road. Troopers searched the car and found digital scales, and a small plastic container with suspected meth inside.
They say 35-year-old Benjamin McKinney, who was a passenger in the car, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
