Trooper’s cruiser goes up in flames after crash

SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A state trooper got in a crash today that had his car engulfed in flames.

This happened in Shelby County on I-64 near the 38 mile marker around 1:15 pm.

According to KSP, construction had one lane closed down.

Troopers are still investigating how the crash happened, but we know it just involved one car.

That trooper is complaining of back and arm pain, but he’s otherwise okay.

Part of I-64 was shut down as troopers cleaned up.
