Troopers: Ambulance Involved In Accident In Bath County

Troopers say an ambulance traveling from Lexington to Sandy Hook Monday afternoon was involved in an accident.

Investigators say it happened around 2:15 on I-64 in Bath County.

Troopers say the Elliot County ambulance lost control and hit a guard rail before striking a concrete culvert.

According to State Police, two EMT’s inside the ambulance were treated at a Morehead hospital and released.

Troopers say the patient they were transporting was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital in West Virginia to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
