Treasurer for Friends of the Madison County Public Library accused of theft

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ)- Berea Police have arrested a man for theft, and they say he was the treasurer for the Friends of the Madison County Public Library at the time.

Police arrested 52-year-old John Marshall. Through investigation, they found that Marshall took over $18,000 while acting as treasurer.

Police say the thefts occurred between November 2017 and March 2018.
