Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall Receives Escort To Clay City

The traveling Wall and the Agent Orange Quilt of Tears will be on display all weekend (August 10-11) at Clay City Park.

It’s part of a ‘Welcome Home Veterans Rally’ sponsored by Task Force Omega of Kentucky, Inc., and AMVETS Post 67 in Clay City.

The opening ceremony for the weekend is scheduled for Noon on Saturday at the AMVETS Post.

Weekend events include guest speakers:  Congressman Andy Barr, Iraq Veteran Greg "Blue" Risner, Vietnam Veteran Danny "Greasy" Belcher and Representative Richard Henderson.

There will also be live music, an auction and a candlelight ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial Wall at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

A church service featuring Mike Allen is scheduled on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
