Travel Advisory: Lane closure on West Maxwell Street in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One lane of West Maxwell Street in Lexington is temporarily closed because of a signal reconstruction project, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The lane will be closed from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. through June 28, 2021, according to the state.

• a signal reconstruction project will be in effect at milepoint 6.427 (South Broadway/US 68)
• the right/slow thru lane on West Maxwell Street will be closed (located in the block from South Broadway/US 68 and Plunkett Street)
• West Maxwell and Plunkett Streets are LFUCG routes (no milepoints)
