Transylvania University welcomes Class of 2029 on move-in day

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – It’s move-in day at Transylvania University, as the Class of 2029 begins their college journey.

Freshmen and their families started arriving early Friday morning, with check-in beginning at 8 a.m. The big day also marks the start of Welcome Week, a series of events designed to help new students get settled, explore campus, and meet their classmates.

Classes at Transylvania officially begin Tuesday, following the Labor Day weekend.
